Underwater parc Canary IslandsLocated in the North East corner of Spain the Costa Brava coastline spans 160km. This Catalonian province contains one of the largest cities in Spain, Barcelona. The beautiful scenery in this region has attracted a multitude of visitors. Development into tourism has been paramount since the 60's, however the 1992 Olympics boosted the facilities and amenities also. The vibrant metropolis that is Barcelona contains some of the most spectacular museums and architecture in the world.

One of the older ports on the Costa is located at Roses located on the eastern most point of Spain's peninsula. This old fishing port is constantly changing to accommodate the ever increasing number of tourists. Even though the port has grown in amenities and facilities for tourism it still maintains the feel of an old Spanish fishing port.

Canary IslandsTravelling South of Roses is a great location for families to visit called Estartit. This town contains an old fishing harbour which is neatly complemented by a modern marina. in addition to the location being popular with families Estartit is also frequented by diving enthusiasts for it's marine reserves clear waters.

Tossa de Mar is another well known area and was made infamous when stars such as Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner stayed there during the 50's. This part of the province is considered by many as the most beautiful and scenic section of this Costa, which has a long history reflected in the local architecture. There are also some marvellous Roman ruins and peaceful fishing villages if it's restful seclusion that you want.
